Ron Mitchell, AIA: Executive Design Director

Ron's educational background includes Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Master of Architecture 1985; Cambridge University, Cambridge/Harvard Exchange Program, 1984; University of Rhode Island, BA English, 1974. Ron has directed the design, planning and management of hospitality projects worldwide, including the following projects: OQYANA World First, Dubai, UAE; Kuwait Villas, Kuwait City; Bardessono Inn & Spa, Napa Valley, CA; Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Hyatt Regency Vizag, India; Club Palau Resort, Palau; Mulia Resort, Bali; and the Sacred Heart Medical Center of Springfield, Oregon, USA. Ron is the Executive Design Director of think. and his leadership has included contracting and oversight of worldwide leaders in Interior Design, Structural, MEP, and Lighting Engineering Design. With this multi-disciplinary approach to design delivery, Ron also maintains a role of design leadership for all projects. Ron's career includes 17 years of senior leadership at WATG as Senior Vice President, Board Member, Managing Director of WATG's Honolulu, HI office, and Founding Director of WATG's Seattle, WA office. Ron is a member of NCARB, he is registered in Washington, Hawaii, and Massachusetts.

Dale Moen, AIA: Design Director

Dale's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, 1975; and graduate studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1998. Dale has directed and managed the planning and design process for large hospitality developments, and has led many of these projects through to successful construction completion. Dale's projects include the following: OQYANA World First, Dubai, UAE; Atlantis Resort-Phase I, Bahamas; Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Mexico; Ritz Carlton, Marina-del-Rey, CA; Monarch Beach Resort by St. Regis, Dana Point, CA; and the Acapulco Marriott Resort, Mexico. Dale leads think.'s Long Beach office and is primarily focused on the delivery management and consultant coordination of projects through the schematic design phases and beyond.

Noe Pegarido, Director

Noe's educational background includes the University of Washington School of Architecture, Seattle, WA; and earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii. Noe has lead the design of hospitality and mixed-use projects both in Seattle and internationally. These projects include the Kuwait Villas, Kuwait City; OQYANA World First, Dubai, UAE; Hyatt Regency Vizag, India; Bardessono Inn & Spa, Napa Valley, CA; Eastern & Oriental Residences, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Club Palau Resort, Palau; Egret Lake Towne Center, Huizhou, China; Zhuzhou Qilin Hills Hotel, Zhuzhou, China; and the 2200 Westlake Building - Pan Pacific Hotel & Residential, Seattle, WA. Noe holds a design leadership position at think. Noe's career includes four years of design at WATG's Honolulu and Seattle offices. He also held a design position for four years with Collins Woerman in Seattle, WA.

Becky Ellis, LEED AP: Director

Becky's educational background includes a Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Environmental Design, from Ball State University, 1999; a Master of Marine Affairs with focus on Sustainable Coastal Planning, School of Oceanography, University of Washington, 2004; and a Master of International Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington, 2004. Becky has directed the design process of several hospitality design projects worldwide, including the following: OQYANA World First, Dubai, UAE; Bardessono Inn & Spa, Napa Valley, CA; Kuwait Villas, Kuwait City; Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; St. Mary's Residences & Retail Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Eastern & Oriental Hotel/Residences Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Lotte Moscow Hotel, Russia; Cheong Na Golf Residential Masterplan, Incheon, Korea; and the Eco Valley 'Center of Excellence' Masterplan, Middle East. Becky's responsibilities at think. include design, project coordination and delivery, and multi-disciplinary coordination of consultants worldwide. Prior to her position at think., Becky was a designer for WATG's Seattle office for 3 years. She has previously held positions as designer in the International Studio for MulvannyG2 Architecture, Bellevue, WA; Columbia Hospitality, Seattle, WA; and Cornoyer-Hedrick, Inc., Phoenix, AZ.

Thomas Uemoto, AIA, LEED AP: Director

Thomas received a Bachelor of Architecture and a certificate in French from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, 1991; and attended L'Institute Savoisien d'Etudes Francais, 1988; and graduate studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1998. Thomas has been the lead designer in concept masterplanning and architectural design for several projects including OQYANA World First, Dubai, UAE; EMAAR's Marassi Reort, Santorini Hills, Egypt; Salam Yiti Resort, Oman; The Lotus Resort, Dubai, UAE; City of Art & Industry, Kingdom of Bahrain; Business Park, Dubai, UAE; Kangwon Ski Resort, Seoul, Korea; Lotte World Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan; Mulia Resort, Bali; Peace Health/Sacred Heart Medical Center, Springfield, OR; Colinas Country Club, Guadalajara, Mexico; Lotte and Jeogwipo Golf Clubhouse, Seoul, South Korea. Thomas holds a design leadership position at think. Thomas's career includes seven years of design at WATG's Honolulu and Seattle offices. He also held a design position with the International Studio at MulvannyG2 Architecture in Bellevue, WA. Thomas has also contributed to Habitat for Humanity, Honolulu and Seattle. Thomas is a member of the AIA, ULI and NCARB. He is licensed in Hawaii and Washington.
